The Lyric’s AWESOME! Summer Camp is for kids of all backgrounds and interests, offered at an affordable rate. Students are encouraged to express themselves, embrace their talents, quirks and individuality. For 3 fun-filled weeks, campers will rotate to DRAMA, DANCE and MUSIC class where they learn new skills in preparation for the grand finale – a show right here on The Lyric stage! No Experience Required! Don’t want to be on stage? We’ve got an important role for you too! Join our Stage Crew and build props, scenery and help run the show.
A Camp with a Conscience…
At The Lyric’s AWESOME! Summer Camp, we are more interested in developing camper’s character off the stage than on stage. LASC has proven to be a powerful platform to get kids on board with socially responsible behavior. Each session supports a theme to promote teamwork, self-discipline, problem solving, tolerance and kindness. We use the performing arts as a medium to teach practical life skills applications and character-building techniques that translate to everyday life. Each of the teaching staff at LASC are passionately committed not only to arts education, but to bolstering the self-confidence and empowerment of each of our campers. Through working together toward the common goal of presenting the sharing, our blossoming actors learn to overcome adversity, insecurities and respect for direction and different points of view. And it’s just plain FUN!

- Session 1: June 10th - June 28th - The Colors of Friendship
The Colors of Friendship is all about discovering different cultures and traditions from around the world. From food to music and dance, your camper will be able to explore and learn about world cultures! We encourage you to share your cultures and traditions with us! - Session 2: July 8th - July 26th - We Can Do It!
We Can Do It! will explore how community and confidence go hand in hand! Your campers will learn that mistakes and failure are a part of life and the biggest success is being able to get back up and try again along with supporting and encouraging everyone to try again!

Cost: $450/session
Sibling Discount: 10% per sibling
Registration/Application Fee: $25 (fee waived for returning campers)
