Let’s get wild! Explore the slimy, sticky, and muddy fun Florida's natural ecosystems have to offer. Venture around preserves as we learn about the wildlife and natural spaces in our own backyard. This camp is not for the squeamish! Think you've got what it takes to be a WILD CHILD!?
Camp runs 9am-5pm daily and includes 2 days of off-site field trips to St. Lucie County preserves! Fee is $250. Meals not provided.
Wild Archery Camp
June 15–19 & June 22–26, 2026 | entering grades 6–8
Ready, Aim, Explore! Step into the Florida wilderness and discover the skills of a true outdoor adventurer! This wilderness survival and archery summer camp gives campers hands-on experience learning essential survival skills like shelter building, navigation, fire safety, and outdoor problem-solving—alongside the excitement of learning archery fundamentals. Guided by experienced instructors, campers will practice focus, patience, and teamwork while gaining confidence in the outdoors. Through exciting challenges and nature-based learning, campers will build a deeper respect for the environment and leave with skills they can use for a lifetime. Perfect for explorers ready to aim high and thrive in the wild! No experience required! All equipment provided.

Jr. Preserve Rangers
July 6–10, 2026 | entering grades 1-3 | Currently full, waitlist available
Become a Jr. Preserve Ranger as you spend a week exploring the wild side of Florida at the Oxbow Eco-Center! Through hands-on science activities, wildlife discovery, and outdoor exploration on land and water, campers will learn how Florida’s ecosystems work and how they can help protect them. From trails to waterways, every day is an adventure rooted in curiosity, teamwork, and fun.

Preserve Pals Camp
July 13–17, 2026 | entering grades 9–12
This immersive “camp” is a hybrid of work and play! Come curious and willing to help as we delve into the world of service-learning and complete hands-on projects to preserve and restore our fragile St. Lucie ecosystems. Daily field trips will take us to different county preserves where we will learn how to maintain trails, Leave No Trace, expand our watershed knowledge, and meet career environmental professionals. Witness the fulfillment and perks of an outdoor career firsthand! Campers will receive 40 hours of community service credit to go towards student requirements.

STEMtastic! Camp
July 20–24, 2026 | entering grades 4–6 | Currently full, waitlist available
Put on your thinking cap! Become an engineer to solve problems using STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math)! Complete hands-on missions using coding and robotics, test your structural and building skills and venture outdoors to explore our watershed!

Preserve Puppeteers Camp
July 27–31, 2026 | entering grades 1–3
It's time to play the music! It's time to turn up the lights! It's time to meet the Puppets at the Preserve Puppeteers Camp! Get ready for a one-of-a-kind adventure where creativity runs wild and nature takes center stage! Campers will explore the great outdoors while learning the art of puppetry—designing and building their very own puppets inspired by Florida’s native wildlife and ecosystems. This camp fosters teamwork and imagination while exploring how every part of the environment connects. Dive into the fun, get creative, and become a Preserve Puppeteer today!
