The City of Port St. Lucie’s annual spring cleaning is right around the corner, which is the perfect time for community members to volunteer and make a positive impact in their neighborhoods.
Now in its 29th year, the Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful Caring Community Cleanup Day will take place Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Volunteers will meet at Port St. Lucie City Hall and pick up litter at designated locations throughout the City.
Enjoy refreshing drinks from Side Door Brewing Company, Keurig Dr. Pepper and Snapple. Kids can get their faces painted and receive balloons, and everyone can cool down with free Kona Ice. Walmart's got breakfast covered and FCC Environmental Services is serving lunch. Dance to music by Bryan Vitta Entertainment and try your luck at winning St. Lucie Mets tickets in our raffle.
How to Spring into Action
- Preregistration is recommended but walk-in participants are also welcome! Individual volunteers and groups can register online and provide their T-shirt sizes. Shirts are provided on the day of the event, while supplies last.
- Volunteers will meet at 7:30 AM at City Hall, located at 121 SW Port St. Lucie Blvd., to pick up their free T-shirts and litter tools, and be directed to their designated area.
- Enjoy a free breakfast before participating in the initiative.
- Cleanup begins at 8:30 AM
- Return between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM for a raffle ticket and a chance to win a prize, interact with exhibitors and receive a free lunch.
“This event is a wonderful example of how much we can accomplish when we work together toward our goal of keeping Port St. Lucie beautiful,” said Meighan Beckett, KPSLB Program Manager. “It’s a day full of teamwork, community pride and fun. Every individual who participates is making a difference in our neighborhoods and across the City.”

Keep the Cleanup Going
You can help keep Port St. Lucie beautiful all month long! Local schools, businesses, organizations, homeowners’ associations and churches are encouraged to participate and conduct a cleanup anytime during April. Businesses and organizations are encouraged to participate as exhibitors and/or donate a raffle prize to support the volunteers. Photos of their cleanup efforts can be shared on social media or submitted to kpslb@cityofpsl.com.
