The St. Lucie Earth Day Festival is Where to Be on April 20th

By St. Lucie County April 4, 2024

Don’t miss the 20th Anniversary of Treasure Coast’s premier Earth Day event on Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Oxbow Eco-Center in Port St. Lucie. The St. Lucie Earth Day Festival showcases unique eco-art, outdoor recreation opportunities, sustainable living ideas and community resources. Admission is free. More than 70 local organizations and businesses will share hands-on activities throughout the gardens and trails of the preserve. Meet local environmental groups, health professionals, law enforcement, foresters, gardeners, beekeepers and more. Celebrate our Earth and join in caring for it through interactive experiences in a fun, festival atmosphere.

Enjoy live music and entertainment from The Nouveaux Honkies, Chobee Steelers and other unique performers throughout the day. Children can stop by the Eco-Challenge at the festival entrance for the chance to win prizes and find adventure in the nature playscape and musical forest. Locally sourced items and experiences will be up for bid at the silent auction, with proceeds providing nature programs for underserved youth in our community.  Sweet and savory food and treats will be available and guests can pretend to “Be the Hamster” while building a snow-cone on a giant running wheel.

Parking for festivalgoers is located just north of the Oxbow Eco-Center off St. James Drive at Southern Oaks Middle School and Rivers Edge Elementary School. Visitors may take a 10-minute walk to the festival entrance or use the free, ongoing festival shuttles. Shuttles are stroller-friendly and ADA-accessible. Golf carts will be roaming parking areas to assist with transport to and from shuttle stops.
