NatureFest is a family-friendly event filled with engaging activities, games, face painting, delicious food and much more. It provides an opportunity for our community to appreciate and celebrate the wonders of nature, conservation and the great outdoors.

NatureFest allows visitors to explore the Manatee Center and connect with the incredible volunteers and remarkable organizations that partner with the Center to promote and educate about our beloved Treasure Coast's fragile ecosystem and their inhabitants. While at NatureFest, don’t forget to stop by the Vanishing Mermaid Gift Shop for deals on your favorite gift shop items.

The Manatee Observation and Education Center (MOEC) is a not-for-profit environmental learning center, located in downtown Fort Pierce. Now in its 28th year, MOEC’s mission is to promote understanding and responsible actions for the protection of the Treasure Coast’s fragile ecosystem and its inhabitants. Innovative exhibits and displays allow for an up-close look at some of the unique and amazing creatures found along the Treasure Coast, as well as an opportunity to see the threatened Florida manatee in its native habitat.
