St. Lucie County Libraries Host Halloween Costume Swap, 10/12

September 19, 2023

The St. Lucie County Library System will host a Halloween Costume Swap at the Kilmer Library on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, giving parents and children a chance to trade their gently used Halloween costumes for something different.

Residents are encouraged to drop off their gently used costumes at ANY of the six St. Lucie County Branch Libraries before Thursday, October 5th. Costumes must be in clean, wearable condition and include all original items like masks and accessories. The Library staff will also accept donations of new costumes to help those in need of a Halloween outfit.

Those who donate a costume will be provided a ticket that they can exchange for a “new to you” costume at the Costume Swap event on Thursday, October 12th at the Kilmer Branch Library, located at 101 Melody Lane in Fort Pierce.

New and gently used costume donations will be graciously accepted even if you are not participating in the Swap event.

This program is an excellent way to reduce, reuse, re-wear and re-scare. For more information about the Halloween Costume Swapcall 772-462-2199 or email johnsonjen@stlucieco.org.
