On Tuesday, October 3, 2023, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM, the City of Port St. Lucie will celebrate the 40th anniversary of National Night Out Against Crime with a free outdoor event held at the Port St. Lucie Police Department (PSLPD).
This night of family fun will provide attendees with various interactive opportunities, games and more. Participants can look forward to crime-prevention information and special presentations by PSLPD’s units: K9, SWAT, Crime Scene Investigations, Explorer Post 411, Animal Control, School Resource Officer, Honor Guard, Traffic Drone, Police Athletic League, and Marine.

National Night Out was designed to heighten crime- and drug-prevention awareness, generate support for and participation in local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit, enhance police-community partnerships, and send a message to criminals letting them know that the communities are organized and are fighting back.
