As the summer comes to a close, the City of Port St. Lucie is excited to unveil its fall programming. These events are designed to provide entertainment and enjoyment for individuals of all ages. We welcome you to take part in these activities and make the most of the autumn season.
Port St. Lucie International Fest

Experience the sights, sounds and cuisine of the world, right in our own backyard! Join us for the inaugural Port St. Lucie International Fest, Culture and Cuisine, that will feature entertainment, exhibits, vendors, giveaways and food trucks serving eats from around the world! Dine on international cuisine from Italy, Japan, Mexico, Jamaica and more! Also, shop around the world at our international marketplace! Admission is free.
Step inside the MIDFLORIDA Event Center lobby and art gallery for the Arts & Ideas Experience from 2 PM -7 PM. Visitors will be able to provide valuable feedback about the arts, culture and diversity showcased in interactive booths. Additionally, visitors can admire international fashion displays and an impressive art exhibition. Make sure to visit all the interactive booths for a chance to receive a free commemorative water bottle, while supplies last. Don't miss the chance to capture a fun memory at the photo booth which is also free!
Neighborhood Scarecrow Competition
October 1st-20th, 2023
Gather your neighbors, unleash your creativity and decorate and display a scarecrow next to your neighborhood sign. Make your scarecrow stand out! The best scarecrow will be announced during Harvest Hayride and Bonfire in the Preserve at McCarty Ranch on Saturday, October 21st.
Oktoberfest

Celebrate Oktoberfest at a new location with traditional German music, featuring DeLeon Oktoberfest Band, dancing and the wiener dog race (Saturday at 6 PM. Preregistration is required.) Admission is free. There’ll be a traditional keg-tapping, flag ceremony, German attire and Biergarten. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Keep the fall vibes moving with River Nights! Grab a comfortable chair, head to Veterans Park at Rivergate and listen to live music while gazing into the night sky. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. River Nights is free and takes place on the second Thursday of every month from October through April.
Harvest Hayride & Bonfire in the Preserve

Plan to light up the night at McCarty Ranch Preserve during the Harvest Hayride
& Bonfire. Walking through the hand-carved jack-o-lantern trail with over 200
hand carved pumpkins will be a sight to see! Enjoy hayrides, pose for Halloween
photo opportunities, pumpkin patch, horseback riding, petting zoo, Palm readers,
face painters. Enjoy live music from Burnt Biscuit. Food and drinks are available for purchase. This event is free for all ages!
Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day

Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful makes it easy for residents to get rid of their unwanted household chemicals and hazardous waste by providing a convenient place and time where the materials can be handed over to experts, free of charge, for proper disposal. Residents do not even need to leave their cars; they simply drive up to the drop-off location, and volunteers will help unload any items for disposal, free of charge. Halloween Decorating Contest
October 13th - 29th, 2023
Port St. Lucie's Spooktacular House Decorating Contest invites residents to showcase their Halloween creativity. Decorate your house in Classic, Cute 'N Creepy, or Spine-Chilling style for a chance to win a $100 gift card. Entries must be Halloween-themed, family-friendly, and within contest rules. Registration begins October 13th - 29th, and voting occurs October 30th - 31st. All entries will be featured on a Halloween Tour Map. Happy haunting and good luck! Veterans Day Ceremony
