Toddler Outdoor Play Sessions Return to Oxbow in September

August 16, 2023

The Oxbow Eco-Center invites children 18 months to 5 years and their caregivers to “Little Acorns” nature play sessions. Little Acorns will meet for an hour each Thursday at 10:00 AM and at 11:30 AM and on select Saturdays starting in September. Class dates and times are listed at www.oxboweco.com

During each unique session, children and families will explore nature surrounding the eco-center and practice child-led play in an environment that fosters developmental skills. Sessions are hosted by an experienced, childhood nature play leader and include stories, nature art, mud play, scavenger hunts, insect observations, wind play and more.

The cost is $8 per child, per class. Pre-registration is required by visiting www.oxboweco.com. Space is limited for this unique opportunity. Limited scholarships are available. Registration opens Friday, September 1st for fall classes. To register for Little Acorns or for more information, contact the Oxbow at 772-785-5833 or email oxbow@stlucieco.org.
