Don’t miss the Treasure Coast’s premier Earth Day event taking place Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Oxbow Eco-Center. The St. Lucie County Earth Day Festival highlights unique eco-art, sustainable living ideas and community resources with free admission for everyone.
More than 70 local organizations and businesses will be showcased and share hands-on activities throughout the gardens and trails of the preserve. Participants can meet local environmental groups, health professionals, law enforcement, foresters, gardeners, beekeepers and more. Discover why there’s “No Place Like Home” (Earth) through interactive experiences in a fun, festival atmosphere.
The festival will feature live music and entertainment from Rainfall Reggae, The Smokeboss Militia and other unique performers. Children can explore nature in the Oxbow’s playscape and musical forest, experience live animal encounters and stop by the Eco-Challenge tent for the chance to win great festival prizes. At the silent auction, dozens of items and local experiences donated by Treasure Coast businesses will be up for bid, with proceeds providing nature programs for underserved youth. Sweet and savory food and treats will be offered by a variety of food trucks. Guests can also “be the hamster” on an oversized running wheel to build a snow cone.
