Visit St. Lucie Encourages Family Fun During Holiday Breaks
And Introduces Treasure Coast Kids Quest Mascot

Visit St. Lucie is encouraging visitors and residents to experience local family-friendly attractions and win prizes this holiday season with the Treasure Coast Kids Quest and their newest mascot, Tesoro ‘Tessy’ the Turtle.

Named after the Spanish word for treasure, Tessy is a plush sea turtle and Treasure Coast native who loves exploring the fun and exciting local attractions on the Treasure Coast Kids Quest.

This interactive and educational passport program offers the opportunity to experience some of the most family-friendly activities on the Treasure Coast. The Treasure Coast Kids Quest offers a unique “quest” in each county – providing families and their children with a fun and engaging way to see and learn about the area’s attractions and activities. The program is available to families visiting the area as well as locals.

In St. Lucie, the Treasure Coast Kids Quest guides families on a tour that includes: The National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum, the Manatee Observation and Education Center, the St. Lucie County Aquarium, the St. Lucie County Regional History Museum, the Oxbow Eco-Center, Urban Air Adventure Park and Savannas Preserve State Park. To begin the quest, passports can be picked up at St. Lucie County hotels, visitor centers and at all participating locations. Each location will provide a stamp after the children have completed their activity at each stop. Once all the passport stamps are collected, a goodie bag will be provided at the Fort Pierce City Marina gift shop along with a free bag of fish food allowing children to feed the marina fish that reside under and around the seawall. The quest is recommended for children ages 3 and older. There is no time limit to complete the program.

Follow Visit St. Lucie’s social media platforms to track Tessy’s adventures as she visits each stop on the St. Lucie segment of the Kids Quest.

Participants are encouraged to take photos during their adventures and post on social media and tag #TCKidsQuest on Facebook or @TCKidsQuest on Instagram.

The St. Lucie County Tourism Office (Visit St. Lucie), the Martin County Tourism (Discover Martin) and the Indian River County Tourism Office (Visit Indian River County) initially launched Treasure Coast Kids Quest in September 2021.
