3rd Annual Osprey Trail Run Returns to LeStrange Preserve Sept. 3rd

July 13, 2022

Registration is underway for the 3rd Annual Osprey Trail Run at George LeStrange Preserve on Saturday, September 3, 2022. This exclusive wooded trail run only has 200 spaces available. Registration is open at: https://ultrasignup.com/register.aspx?did=95340

The Osprey Trail Run is the first in a series of trail races taking place at various St. Lucie County preserves. Proceeds from the race directly benefit St. Lucie County's Environmental Resource Department's environmental education programs.

The Osprey Trail Run offers a unique experience inside the 94-acre George Lestrange Preserve. The race gets its name from birds of prey known as ospreys, which are commonly seen in the preserve.

This loop-based race takes runners around a beautiful lake, along Ten Mile Creek and through various terrain that includes technical single-track winding trails, hard-packed gravel, beautiful oak lined hammocks, oxbows, hills and low-lying flatlands.

The race includes a timed 8k and 25k option, two aid stations, swag, t-shirt and finisher medals.

Entry fees are $65 for the 25k and $45 for the 8k until July 25, when fees increase by $10, so register early for better pricing. More race details can be found at: https://runtheosprey.com.
