Fenn Center Reminds Pickleball Players of Open Rec Days
To Prepare for August United Way Pickleball Tournament

St. Lucie County’s Parks & Recreation Department is offering free open recreation for pickleball and basketball on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during select days in July and August at the Havert L. Fenn Center.

The Fenn Center features indoor, air-conditioned pickleball and basketball courts inside the main gymnasium. These free open recreation sessions take place Tuesdays from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Wednesdays from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM on July 6, 12, 13, 2022, and August 9-10, 2022.

These open recreation days are a great way to prepare for the upcoming 2022 United Way Pickleball Tournament on August 11th-13th. This three-day, indoor pickleball tournament will feature multiple divisions by ages and gender, with 100% of the proceeds going toward the United Way of St. Lucie and Okeechobee counties. Registration is $50 and includes participation in one round-robin event and a commemorative t-shirt. There is a $20 fee for additional divisions for players that want to play in more than one event.  To register, visit: www.pickleballtournaments.com/tournamentinfo.pl?tid=5952.

The Havert L. Fenn Center is located at 2000 Virginia Avenue in Fort Pierce, 34982.
