City of Port St. Lucie Offers FREE, Fun Fall Events

It’s almost autumn and the City of Port St. Lucie is celebrating fall at these upcoming festivals and events:

2021 Oktoberfest
Friday, Oct. 1, 2021, 5 - 10 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021, 2 - 10 p.m.
MIDFLORIDA Event Center - 9221 SE Event Center Pl., Port St. Lucie, FL 34952

Celebrate Oktoberfest with traditional German live music featuring The Deleon Band, dancing and the wiener dog race (on Saturday). Admission to this festive event is free to the public. There will be German-themed music and decorations, and food and beverage will be available for purchase.

National Night Out
Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2021, 5 – 8 p.m.
Port St. Lucie Police Department - 121 SW Port St. Lucie Blvd. Building C, Port St. Lucie, FL 34984

Join the Port St. Lucie Police Department for a night of family fun at this in-person event to recognize National Night Out against crime. Admission is free. There will be food vendors, fun and prizes for guests of all sizes.

Experience special presentations by PSLPD's units: K9, SWAT, Crime Scene Investigation, Explorer Post 411, Animal Control, School Resource Officer, Honor Guard, Traffic, Drones, Police Athletic League (PAL), Marine, and a Driving Simulator.
All proceeds benefit PAL and Special Olympics.

Spooktacular Special Populations Dance
Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021, 6-8 p.m.

Specials populations participants, families and friends are invited to join us for an evening of fun Halloween fun. Fee: $5 per person, caregivers are free.

Haunted Happenings Tween Dance
Friday, Oct. 15, 2021, 6-8 p.m.
Community Center - 2195 SE Airoso Blvd., Port St. Lucie, FL 34984

Drop off your child to enjoy a haunted dance party hosted by experienced Recreation Camp staff, partake in “Fear Factor” and play our Halloween “Minute-to-Win-It”. Enjoy Top 40 music and refreshments with friends. Costumes are not required but recommended. Wear a face covering or mask.

  • $5 per tween ages 9-14
  • Drop-off from 5:30 to 6 p.m.
  • Doors close 6 to 8 p.m.

Pickup from 8 to 8:30 p.m. with ID. Space is limited to 80. Must provide emergency contact information.

River Nights

In the mood for a different kind of date night? Grab a comfortable chair, head over to the Event Lawn at The Port and listen to live music while looking out over the St. Lucie River and gazing into the night sky. Food and drink are available for purchase. River Nights is free. Guests need to bring their own chairs.

Harvest in the Garden
Saturday, October 16, 2021, 4 – 8 p.m.
Botanical Gardens - 2410 SE Westmoreland Blvd., Port St. Lucie, FL 34952

Walk through the hand-carved jack-o-lantern trail, enjoy hayrides, food vendors, photo stops, a pumpkin patch, plant sale, music, chills and thrills for the entire family.

All ghosts, goblins, ghouls and friends are invited to carve a pumpkin and drop it off between 3-6 p.m. Then, join us at 7 p.m. for a festive walk to check out the jack-o'-lanterns!

There is a chill in the air, you know what that means … Fall Fun Fest! Celebrate the return of autumn with this three-day event that is jam-packed with live music, a carnival, food vendors and our Street of Treats trick-or-treating event on Sunday. A battle of the bands competition will occur during the three-day event. Admission is free and the event is for all ages. Food and drink are available for purchase.

Special to Sunday, Oct. 31, 4-6 p.m., Street of Treats: Halloween Trick-or-Treating - Dress up in your favorite costume and walk down our Street of Treats to snatch up some Halloween candy.

2021 Bonfire Hayride  
Saturday, November 6, 2021, 3-7 p.m.
McCarty Ranch Preserve - 12525 Range Line Rd., Port St. Lucie, FL 34987

Plan to light up the night at McCarty Ranch Preserve during the City’s annual bonfire! There will be horseback riding, a petting zoo, live music from Lane Braden Band, fishing, food trucks and, of course, a bonfire. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs.
