St. Lucie County Brings Back the Osprey Trail September 11

After a long-awaited return, the Osprey Trail Run is back for its second year. Hosted by the St. Lucie County Environmental Resources Department in partnership with a dedicated volunteer planning committee, this 25K and 8K race is scheduled for Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the 94-acre George LeStrange Preserve located at 4911 Ralls Road, Fort Pierce.

The Osprey Trail Run is a 2.5-mile loop-based trail race that takes runners around a serene fishing lake, down along 10 Mile Creek and through various terrain that includes technical single track winding trails, hard-packed gravel, canopied hammocks, oxbows, hills and low-lying flatlands. Other features include aid stations, portable restrooms, specialized swag items and customized shirt and design options.
