The City of Port St. Lucie's annual Fourth of July celebration, Freedomfest, presented by St. Lucie Jewelry & Coins, will take place at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center on July 4, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Freedomfest is how Port St. Lucie residents show their pride in the nation and the community. This traditional, patriotic salute is free and open to the public. Make sure to bring your lawn chair! Food and drinks will be available for purchase; and the Parks & Recreation Department has planned a full schedule of events for everyone to enjoy:
- 6:00 PM - Live music featuring The Wildflowers, a Tom Petty tribute band, and the Highway Companions;
- 7:00 PM - Expert magician Jamie Porter will astound the crowd with mind-bending magic tricks;
- 9:00 PM - Show-stopping fireworks display will begin (weather permitting) with B94.7 Fresh Country and 93.7 GYL Today's Best Music simulcasting music in sync with the fireworks.
New this year is the introduction of the Little Miss & Little Mister Red, White and Blue Pageant for children ages 3 to 10. This pageant will feature children with the most patriotic outfits.
