Spring Break Comes To The BGC’s New Westside Club

March 4, 2021

Spring break is a rite of passage for our youth, tweens, and teens. To be able to take a diverse group of children, put them in a room or on a field outdoors and let them play is just one of the memories they will look back on later in life to reflect upon.

Now more than ever, Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County (BGCSLC) recognizes the need for kids to be kids while taking a weeks’ vacation from their school schedule during March. The Club is hosting their first spring break minicamp at their new Westside Club Complex.

This year’s minicamp will have the kids utilizing the theater at the new Westside club with performing arts classes, sports activities in the gym as well as outdoors on 25 acres of play area. Music is always a flavorful ingredient in the recipe of a great minicamp experience. This year will be no exception with the drumline lessons added to their curriculum.

The minicamp session for students K-12 is $65 per child and runs from March 15-19 from 7:30am – 6:00 pm at the Westside Club Complex located just off I-95 at 3361 S. Jenkins Road in Fort Pierce. Signup online at www.bgcslc.rocks/SummerCamp or call 772-460-9918 Ext. 206 for additional information.
