The Port St Lucie Christmas House is an annual tradition in St. Lucie County and the culmination of the hard work and generosity of JW Salveson & Jerome Sangalli who open their festively decorated, private home to the public each year, showcasing a Winter Wonderland, all benefiting local charities. As seen on “The Great Christmas Light Fight” Season Six, the 2020 PSL Christmas House features over 73 decorated trees, nightly entertainment, Socially Distanced Safe Santa, and over 150K lights provided by Climatic Solar.
The Port Saint Lucie Christmas House is located at 716 SE Walters Terrace, Port St. Lucie, 34983. The House opens this year on December 4, 2020 and runs through December 18th. Visitors are asked to either bring a new, unwrapped toy or purchase a raffle ticket to help the Port St. Lucie Christmas house fulfill it's charitable giving goals.
Due to COVID, the following protective measures will be in place this year to ensure the safety of all guests:
- The number of people inside the home at one time will be limited to ten (10)
- Guided directions through out the home with no tour narration will minimize wait times
- Masks are required by St Lucie County Mandate and are strongly suggested to be worn
- Social Distancing will be enforced
- Though Santa will appear in person nightly, he will be in a restricted space and will only wave and speak from a distance
- Walters Terrace will not be blocked off and traffic will flow in both directions allowing for drive by viewing of the home's outdoor displays
- Volunteers will be available outside so the public may drop off toys, purchase raffle tickets, and pick up Senior Wish and Dream gift requests
- No outdoor, portable restrooms
- Bathrooms inside the home are NOT for public use (under any circumstances)
The 2020 Christmas House benefits the Boys and Girls Clubs SLC, Funding for Dogs and Cats Forever No-Kill Animal Sanctuary, and Senior Citizens that need a helping hand, a Wish and Dream at the Holidays.
