Fairwinds Golf Course Hosts First Tee Youth Golf Program

September 25, 2020

Fairwinds Golf Course is once again hosting the First Tee program – a youth development organization – focused on helping students, ages 6 to 14, learn the game of golf. A free kick-off clinic will be offered on Saturday, October 3, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Fairwinds.

With a focus on building a strength of character that empowers students through a lifetime of new challenges through the game of golf, the First Tee program is a nine-week clinic that starts Saturday, October 10th. Held each Saturday from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM, the cost to participate is $150.

To reduce the spread of COVID-19, all participants are required to bring their own water; temperatures will be taken before each class; class sizes will be limited; and students and coaches will follow social distancing guidelines.

Taught by Coach Willie Scott, interested participants can sign up at www.firstteetreasurecoast.org. For questions about the program email: williescott61@yahoo.com.
