Rising Star Saturdays is offered by several programs funded by the Children's Services Council of SLC in partnership with the United Way of SLC in order to provide St. Lucie Public School Students academic support during the summer.
The programs participating will offer access to computers, opportunities for self-guided learning and/or credit retrieval all while following CDC guidelines for safety and cleanliness. There are also incentives for attendance in the program. Students who attend will earn a backpack full of school supplies from United Way of SLC. Additionally, children’ who attend two or more weeks will be entered to win a 50” Smart TV!
The program starts on Saturday, July 11, 2020 and runs through August 1st. Registration is strongly recommended. Students can register by calling the phone number of the locations they plan to attend.
