SLC Libraries Offer Phone Assistance in Light of Temporary Closure

March 20, 2020

In light of the temporary closure of St. Lucie County libraries, the library staff will be providing phone support to those that need help with online services or signing up for a library card.

For anyone who doesn't have a St. Lucie County Library card, but would like to access the Library's free ebooks and online audiobooks, the library will issue a temporary card over the phone. Residents can call any branch library between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM through Saturday, March 21, 2020 and have your contact information ready. Phone assistance will continue to be available next week though hours haven't yet been determined.

The library's thousands of free ebooks and online audiobooks can be enjoyed on a phone, tablet, computer or e-reader. If you need help getting started, library staff are available via phone at all branch libraries. In anticipation of increased use, funds have been allocated to significantly boost the online collection.
