5th Annual Spring Forward for Hunger
Farm-to-table Brunch Returns to Kai-Kai Farm
Savor the season and gather with friends for Treasure Coast Food Bank’s 5th annual farm-to-table Spring Forward for Hunger Brunch. The sell-out event returns to Kai-Kai Farm, 8006 SW Kanner Hwy in Indiantown. It takes place from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2020. All proceeds from the brunch benefit children, seniors, and families struggling with hunger along the Treasure Coast.
Tour the farm and enjoy delicious local food prepared by Healthy Harvest Catering, a program of Treasure Coast Food Bank. Sip a Bloody Mary or Mimosa while taking in the beautiful views of the farm – or get on your feet and dance to the sounds of The Blue Cypress Bluegrass Band.
Highlighting the brunch menu again this year are the Farmer’s Omelets made your way. The menu also features tricolor potatoes with pesto and parmesan, stuffed chicken breast with spinach, cheese and sundried tomatoes, crab claw cakes with spicy remoulade sauce, and for dessert, fresh fruit-topped gourmet mini cheesecakes.
The event also includes a silent auction with items generously donated by Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Empower Zipline Adventures Tampa Bay, Healthy Harvest Catering, Save the Chimps, Waldo’s Restaurant, Walt Disney World Resort, Zoo Tampa at Lowry Park and more.
Treasure Coast Food Bank is continuing to collect silent auction items, and sponsorships for the event are also available. Tickets are $75 per person.
