The 41st Annual Original Greek Festival returns to Ft. Pierce, February 7-9, 2020. The Festival celebrates the Greek heritage and raise awareness of the Greek culture. The three-day festival is filled with fun, great food, dancing, vendors, tours of the church and more.
“This year, we are featuring cooking demonstrations throughout the weekend. And on Saturday, we are bringing in Karalyn and the Dawn Patrol, a band from the Space Coast, to entertain festivalgoers,” stated Bill Woulas, one of the organizers. “The Original Greek Festival opens at 11:00 AM on Friday and Saturday and then at noon on Sunday. Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy the food, beer and other activities during the weekend.”
Friday is free admission day and all attendees will get in free from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM. There will be a variety of booths and vendors selling goods imported from Greece and other countries. Everyone is encouraged to tour the beautiful 200-member church and sample the authentic Greek Foods, wines and beers.
Monies raised during the Original Greek Festival will be used to support a variety of local non-profit and community organizations that the church supports, among them the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Hospice of the Treasure Coast.
