Hit Your Mark at the Oxbow’s Explore Archery and Open Range November 2

Let the Oxbow Eco-Center help you hit your mark with another Explore Archery session on Saturday, November 2, 2019. The Oxbow’s team of USA archery-certified coaches and instructors will guide both experienced and novice archers from 9:00 AM to Noon for an introduction to this captivating sport

Explore Archery offers extracurricular fun for all ages while helping to build strength, endurance and mental focus. The Oxbow will also be offering Open Range Time afterward from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM for participants that have taken introductory classes previously and would like some practice time and coaching. Classes will continue to be offered monthly through March on the following dates: December 7th, January 11, 2020, February 1st, and March 7th.

Instruction during the Explore Archery class will include an outdoor classroom session and range time. Please bring a bagged lunch or snack, water bottle, closed-toe shoes and appropriate clothing for Florida weather. All archery equipment will be provided. This program is appropriate for ages 10 and older; however, participants under the age of 15 must have a legal guardian present. The cost for Explore Archery is $20 per person. The Explore Archery Program, a collaboration from USA Archery and the Archery Trade Association, is designed to introduce beginners of all ages and abilities to the lifelong sport of archery. The Oxbow proudly supports the goal of Explore Archery: To serve as a foundation for the development of community based archery programs nationwide.
