SLC Libraries Host 2nd Annual Halloween Costume Swap October 12th

September 26, 2019

The St. Lucie County Library System is hosting a Costume Swap on Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM, giving parents and children a chance to trade their old Halloween costumes for something different.

Residents are encouraged to drop off their gently used costumes to any St. Lucie County Branch Library before Saturday, October 5th. The Library staff will also accept donations of new costumes to help those in need of a Halloween outfit. Costumes must be in clean/wearable condition.

Those that donate a costume will be provided a ticket that they can exchange for a “new to you” costume at the Costume Swap event on Saturday, October 12th at the Susan Broom Kilmer Branch, 101 Melody Lane, Fort Pierce. However, used costumes can be dropped off at any of the six St. Lucie County Branch Libraries.

This program is an excellent way to reduce, reuse, re-wear and re-scare. For more information about the Costume Swap call 772-462-2199 or email johnsonjen@stlucieco.org.
