Continuing it's commitment to the community, Saint Lucie Lanes partners with local schools from K-1 to High School by awarding our students with free bowling for individual accomplishments as well as supporting countless donations to schools and non profit organizations for charitable events. By their continuing efforts, Saint Lucie Lanes serves as the "home field" for Saint Lucie County High Schools, hosting free team practices and matches for high school bowling teams competing for SMART Scholarship Dollars.
Bowling offers students entertainment, exercise, fun and a safe atmosphere to be with and make new friends, and the value of teamwork and the universal rules of good sportsmanship. Bowling scholarships are offered by colleges and universities and all the youth league bowlers can earn dollars by participating in the S.M.A.R.T. scholarship program.
In September, 2019, 31 Treasure Coast schools partnered with Saint Lucie Lanes in distributing over 27,000 informational flyers for the opportunities available through bowling both health, competition and scholarship dollars.
S.M.A.R.T. is an acronym for Scholarship Management and Account Reporting for Tenpins. Through this national organization we offer millions of dollars in scholarship money to help young bowlers get a jump start on achieving their dreams.
