Learn to Train a Dragon at the Lewis Library May 25

Drop into the Paula A. Lewis Library on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 2:00 PM for “How to Train a Dragon: The Hidden World.”

Featuring the voices of Jay Baruche and America Ferrera, this is the third film in this animated series. Hiccup discovers Toothless isn't the only Night Fury dragon, so he must seek "The Hidden World,” a secret Dragon Utopia, before a hired tyrant named Grimmel finds it first. The movie Is rated PG with a running time of 104 minutes.  

Other family activities in May include:

  • Rhythm & Rhyme Storytime takes place Wednesdays at 10:30 AM. For ages 2 ½ and older, this program promotes literacy through rhymes, stories, movement and more.

  • Storytime Jam is held on Fridays at 10:30 AM. Did you know that storytime encourages literacy, imagination and socialization? Bring your children (3-5) to clap, dance, sing and listen to stories.

  • Music & Motion gets moving on the first and third Thursday of each month at 11:15 AM. Focusing on action songs, movement, signing and instruments, this program is designed for children 6 and younger. This is program will be taking the summer off, returning in Sept. 5 as a weekly event.

  • Chill Time on the second Tuesday at 10:00 AM. This program creates a small group setting for adults with autism and other developmental challenges. Limited to 10 people, this program focuses on reading time, socializing and a craft project. Caretakers/companions must attend to support their clients during the program.

These events are free and open to everyone, but space is limited.
