By Main Street Fort Pierce September 4, 2019

Join Main Street Fort Pierce as they host Friday Fest on Friday, September 6, 2019 from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM

Friday Fest, the longest running street party on the Treasure Coast, is a FREE community event that features live music, arts & crafts, children's activities, and local vendors. It also offers FREE parking in the parking garage. Organizers do ask that visitors not bring pets or coolers to the event.

The musical guest at Friday Fest in April is Category 5 & The Storm Horns.

Category 5 & The Storm Horns is a Treasure Coast based Blues Band. Established in 2008, they have performed from Gainesville Florida down to Boca Raton Florida. Their home town favorite regular venues are Waldo's and Crawdaddys! The Band is headed up by Gerry Mullaney the guitarist & vocalist, James Archer on tenor sax, Frank Cramblitt on bass, and Mark Patten on drums.

They feature a horn section that can include trumpet and trombone players. This is as Bluesy as it gets. They also kick butt with some Swing, R&B, and Jazz instrumentals!

Arts & crafts vendors will line up in front of the Indian River in Marina Square. Make sure you bring your appetite when you come to Friday Fest. The food variety includes Greek, Latin, BBQ ribs & chicken, seafood, Americana, and various snack items.

Admission is always FREE at Friday Fest and there is always plenty of food, music, and activities for all ages! Parking Garage is open and free for your parking convenience!

Come down and meet Friday Fest sponsors Dyer Chevy Fort Pierce, iHeart Media and Southern Eagle Distributing.

Following Friday Fest, guests are encouraged to support Downtown Fort Pierce by visiting the local establishments. Let's all dine and shop local!
