Fort Pierce Library Celebrates Earth Day with a Butterfly Program 4/22

Celebrate Earth Day at the Fort Pierce Library with a special program on butterflies on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 3:00 PM.

Designed for students in kindergarten through 5th grade, children will learn about butterflies and make a butterfly sun catcher. Following the program, participants will release butterflies that have hatched right here at the library. 

This program is free and open to the public, but space is limited so arrive early. Parents and caregivers are asked to accompany children during this program.

For more Earth Day fun, be sure to visit the Oxbow Eco-Center’s 13th Annual Earth Day Festival on Saturday, April 29th from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Located at 5400 NE St. James Drive in Port St. Lucie, the Oxbow’s Earth Day event will feature food, live music, arts and crafts, environmental education booths and more.
