Meet Marcus - Our Macaroni Dog of the Week

I’m Marcus! And I just celebrated my first birthday! I was adopted from the Humane Society as 3 month old puppy and here I am again looking for a nice home. I heard my previous owners say I was too much for them, but I can’t help it I’m just a puppy. People tell me I have a beautiful smile and I make sure it is on display to let you know I am having a great time. I know sit, how to play fetch, and how to be a great companion

Marcus is available at for adoption at the Humane Society of Saint Lucie County’s Port Saint Lucie shelter.

Meet Monki - Our Macaroni Cat of the Week

Hey everyone! I’m Monki, pronounced Monkey, a very curious 2 month old Butterscotch Tortoiseshell who just became available for adoption. Just the past month me and over 100 of my feline friends were brought to the Humane Society. I was luckily enough to be put into a wonderful foster home until I find a great family to call my own. I love to play with my human companions especially when they are dangling a long string in front of me. I will definitely be tons of fun for you and your family for many years. Since I am in foster care please call 772-461-0687 to arrange a meet and greet with me!

The Humane Society of Saint Lucie County is an open admission, non-profit animal shelter, helping more than 8,000 unwanted pets each year, thanks to the support of donors and volunteers.
