Fairwinds Junior Golf Academy Gets Into Swing June 10

Junior golfers can get help with the swing starting June 10, 2015 with Fairwinds Golf Course’s Junior Golf Academy.

The Junior Golf Academy teaches students all areas of the game of golf from rules to etiquette straight from the USGA Rules of Golf Book. All sessions include lunch, while the advanced session plays nine holes of golf each day following lunch. Students without clubs will be supplied clubs.

The beginners’ session is available to ages 7 – 11; while the advanced session is for ages 12 – 17. The Junior Golf Academy runs June 10th – 12th; June 24th – 26th; July 8th – 10th and July 22nd – 24th from 9:00 AM – noon for beginners and 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM for advanced. The cost is $50 for beginners and $100 for advanced. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify. Advanced registration is required.

Additionally, Junior Clinics are currently offered year round on Sundays from 2:00 PM – 3 PM for kids ages 7 to 17. With instructions designed to meet individuals’ needs, the cost for the clinic is $10 per session. Advanced registration is required.
