Find out what a NeverBeast is as the Morningside Library presents “Tinkerbell and the Legend of the NeverBeast” (2014) as part of its Movie Matinee on Saturday, March 14 at 2 p.m.
Featuring the voices of Ginnifer Goodwin, Mae Whitman and Rosario Dawson, in this animated movie Tinkerbell’s friend fairy Fawn believes you can’t judge a book by its cover, or an animal by its fangs, so she befriends a huge and mysterious creature known as the NeverBeast. The movie is not rated with a running time of 76 minutes. Best suited for ages 5-10, moviegoers are encouraged to bring a pillow or blanket and are welcomed to bring their own snacks and drinks.

Those looking for creative outlets for their children should check out:
- Friday Finger Painting on Friday, March 13 at 10:30 a.m. (second Friday of each month), which allows children to explore color and shapes using finger paints. Most suited for ages 2 to 5, materials will be supplied. Children are encouraged to wear old clothes or smocks/aprons.
- Legos at the Library on Saturday, March 21 from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (the third Saturday of each month), which provides children the chance to build, learn and play with tons of Legos.
- Crafts for Kids program on Saturday, March 28 at 2 p.m. (fourth Saturday of each month), which gives children (ages 5-10) all the necessary supplies to be creative and artistic.
