Boxed Wholesale - Amazing!

Sponsored

Have you heard of Boxed Wholesale yet? No? Well, let me tell you a little about it.

Boxed is an online wholesale club, similar to Sam's Club, BJ's, or Costco, but there are no yearly membership fees or waiting in long lines to check out and their prices (at least on the items that we purchase) are comparable, if not better, than the brick and mortar clubs. There is free shipping on your first order, and shipping on subsequent orders is often free, too, as long as the minimum order amount is met, which it almost always is.

One of the benefits of working as a Macaroni Kid publisher is that sponsors of our National MK often ask them for assistance in introducing new products to our readers and every so often we local publishers are given the opportunity to try these products ourselves. And so it was with Boxed Wholesale.

A few months back HQ told us about Boxed and we were invited to register for an account. Like most families on a budget, saving money sounds good to me and if there's an opportunity to save a few dollars on products I use often I'm willing to give it a try.

Boxed sells a curated selection of products moms and dads use every day, and since this is a wholesale club, many come in bulk sizes for even greater savings. My children are older and thankfully, the days of purchasing diapers, baby food and formula have long since past, but in looking over the items Boxed carries for babies, I found it to be very impressive. What's more, they have a great selection of natural, green, and organic products like Happy Family, Seventh Generation, Honest Kids, Annie's Organic and more. They carry everything from health and beauty products, to household cleaning supplies, to non-perishable groceries. In fact, one of our favorite sweeteners is Wholesome - Organic Blue Agave and they carry that at more than 50% off what we normally pay at the grocery store. Let me tell you what, we go through a lot of that sweetener and when we found it at Boxed for only $6.49 for 36 ounces you better believe we stocked up!

Another thing that Boxed offers to make shopping on the go easier is an app for your smartphone. Again, there are no membership fees and it's free to download and use. You can download the app for your iPhone here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/boxed-wholesale/id664657494?mt=8 and for Android here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.boxed.prod. We haven't tried it yet but it's on my list of things to do.

As some of you may know, we will be hosting our first Baby Brunch in a couple of weeks. I was so excited to learn that Boxed was one of the sponsors of the event and that we'll be introducing some local moms to this terrific company. The other day I received a box full of great baby/toddler products from Boxed to show our guests. Inside were Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers, Dropps Laundry Detergent Pacs, Seventh Generation Baby Wipes and Honest Kids Organic Juice Drink (hmm...I think 9 year olds and grown-ups can drink that, too!). I cannot wait to share this with the moms at the brunch. I think some of them will be quite pleased to walk away with the contents of this box!

Macaroni Kid subscribers can save $20 on your first boxed order of $80 or more with the promo code MKIDS20. Promo code expires 4/30/15.

So if you'd like to give Boxed Wholesale a try, visit www.boxed.com (or download the app above). Remember, your first order ships free!
