It feels like Thanksgiving should still be weeks away, but the calendar doesn't lie and Thanksgiving is this coming Thursday! I had these plans for how I was going to post all the things I'm thankful for here and on our Facebook page this month, but somehow the month has come and is nearly gone and I haven't mentioned a thing. But I AM so very thankful for all that I have: my wonderful kids and amazing husband; the best and most supportive family and friends a person could ever hope to have; a solid roof over my head, excellent health, and an abundance of love. I get to do this job in this community I adore through the support of our fantastic sponsors. I have awesome and thoughtful readers who throughout this year have taken time to write in or come see us just to say they love Macaroni Kid and appreciate the work we do. I don't know if you all realize how much your kind words and gestures mean to MacDad and me, and we thank you all for being so supportive. You guys and gals truly ROCK!
As the start of the holiday shopping season officially opens on Black Friday, please remember our local businesses need you to keep them going. Again, please support the fine businesses found in our 2014 Holiday Gift Guide and show them a little Macaroni love by spending some of your holiday dollars with them if you can.
