No tricks, just treats in Port St. Lucie this Halloween season and lots of family fun. Let us cast our spell on you at the Civic Center, Botanical Gardens and Minsky Gym in October with several Halloween events.
The Super Spooky Halloween Dance at the Port St. Lucie Civic Center is on Thursday, October 23rd from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM for our special needs friends 15 years and older and their caregivers, family and friends. Dress in your favorite costume and come out for a night of spooky fun. Be sure to purchase tickets early, as space is limited. Tickets are $5 when purchased before October 23rd and $6 at the door the night of the dance. Caregivers pay just $1 at the door to join in the fun.
On Sunday, October 26th, the popular BOO-tanical Halloween Celebration runs from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens. This event is for kids 12 years of age and under and their families. Costumes are encouraged to make the event even more fun. There will be games, cookie decorating, relay races, crafts, music and much more. Although this event is free, participants are asked to pre-register by calling (772) 337-1959.
Come to the Minsky Gym for Haunted House Time on Thursday, October 30th from 10:30 AM to noon. Boys and girls ages 5 and younger can dress in costume and enjoy a haunted house and Halloween snacks. The cost is $3 and parents are encouraged to participate.
Haunted Happenings at the Martin Health System Village Square at the Civic Center is on Friday, October 31st from 5:00 PM to 7 PM. Purchase a $5 wristband for kids to enjoy all of the Kids’ Zone activities. There will be a reptile exhibit, petting zoo and face painting. Go inside the Civic Center to fill your bag with lots of candy at the Trick or Treat Zone. This event is part of the all new Fall Fun Fest which continues through Saturday, November 1st and Sunday, November 2nd.
