It's beginning to feel a lot like fall! We were almost in shock this morning when we stepped outside to bring MiniMac to school and felt .....a little chill? Mini even ran back in the house to grab the hoodie she got as part of her school uniform this year. Okay, so maybe it wasn't exactly sweater weather, but the lower temperatures and humidity sure did feel great!

We have full issue this week. Your family is sure to love the many terrific events taking place around Saint Lucie County in the days ahead and we wanted to make sure and spotlight as many as we could. That said, here's some of what you'll find in this week's issue: get the scoop about all the fun Halloween happenings brought to you by the City of Port Saint Lucie; find out how you can reserve your spot to bug "Out on a Bat-tastic Night with Nature at Adams Ranch brought to you by the Manatee Center; mark you calendar for the City of PSL's all new Fall Fun Fest; and learn about the awesome Neighborhood Postcard Project the Children's Services Council of Saint Lucie County had developed for our youngest residents to help instill community pride.

We're still accepting resume's for a sales assistant/assistant editor (which will hopefully lead to a partnership) and we invite Saint Lucie County businesses to participate in the upcoming 2014 Holiday Gift & Shopping Guide.

Don't forget our regular features follow the calendar listings so be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the page to see this week's Birthday Kids, the list of upcoming walks/runs, Macaroni Dad's column, and of course, our Kids Eat Free (or Cheap) listings.

That's all for now...until next time, have a fantastic weekend and a wonderful week ahead.
