We are asked all the time, “What is the best way to shop JBF?” And my normal answer is CHILDLESS! I absolutely love my children, but taking a 4 and 6 year old into 9,000 sq. ft. of opened toys is bound to give me a headache and make me frustrated. If you are able to keep your sanity, please share your secret! I really had to put some thought into this one because we wanted to give Macaroni Kid Readers a one up on how to get the best items at the best prices. As my 6 year old sits on my lap, I ask him, “what’s the best way to shop JBF?” His response, “With a Cupcake!” And you know what? He’s right! That got me thinking...

Any way you want! Whatever makes you happy! However you like to shop!
Over the years I have seen thousands of different types of shoppers. People with lists that have a complete plan of attack, people on the hunt for one specific item, people that spend hours going through the entire sales floor, and people that come every day to see what’s new. Although I can offer you some suggestions, there really is no BEST way to shop the sale. But, there is what’s BEST for you.
Okay...since we all love a great bargain here are my tips on how to get the best from JBF.
Know the Dates
- Friday, September 26th - 9am to 6pm ($3 or donation of a NEW baby item)
- Saturday, September 27th - 9am to 6pm (New items on sales floor)
- Sunday, September 28th - 10am to 3pm (50% off most items)
Looking for a specific item? Look for it first and if you find it, take it to our HOLD AREA, or you might go back and it’s gone.
Trade babysitting - We have many shoppers that trade babysitting with friends. One shops the AM, one the PM. Or one takes the kids to the water fountain or park, and then they trade off.
Kids’ Coloring Contest - We are having a kids coloring contest this sale. There will be a table with coloring pages and crayons for your kids to sit and color. Winner will be chosen at random to get a basket of goodies. But please know, this is not a babysitting area, parents are still responsible for their children.
Get a Floor Plan - We are offering a floor plan on our website and will have them available at the sale so you know where to go to find what you’re looking for. Visit the Printable Information page at www.treasurecoast.jbfsale.com or CLICK HERE to download a copy now.
Hold Area - We have a hold area for when your shopping bags are full, your arms are tired, or that item it just too big.
Visit the Vendors - If your arms get tired from sorting through all those clothes (I know mine do!), take a break and visit our vendors. Get your “Dance Card” signed and turn it in at check out for our door prizes after the sale. It’s a great way to win FREE prizes!
Be Patient - There are lots of shoppers all looking for a good deal, and our sale is run entirely on volunteers that are shoppers, consignors, parents, grandparents, etc. Please respect others that are in attendance at the sale: shoppers, vendors, children, volunteers, etc.
And as you’re making your way to checkout, remember the words of my 6 year old.... “Have a cupcake!” They truly are delicious!
