The City of Port St. Lucie and the German American Club of the Treasure Coast present Oktoberfest on Friday, Oct. 3 from 5 to 10 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 4 from noon to 10 p.m. in the Martin Health System Village Square at the Civic Center.
Throughout the festival there will be live entertainment featuring Polka International, local kids groups and much more. The whole family will enjoy tons of kids' activities, plus authentic German food.
Adults will like the German spirits in the beer garden and testing their strength of body and mind during the keg toss, stein holding competition and brat eating contest.
Be part of the victory party Friday night at 7 p.m. under the big tent in celebration of Germany's big win in the 2014 World Cup.
Admission and parking are free on both days. You can experience Germany's culture and tradition right here in Port St. Lucie.
The Civic Center is located at 9221 S.E. Civic Center Place on the southeast corner of U.S. Highway 1 and Walton Road.
