Meet Tank - Our Macaroni Dog of the Week

Just as my name suggests I am a very big boy, but my heart is just as big. I love to come when called for, as long as you give me a nice pat on the back. I still have a lot of puppy in me so you better be ready for some play time. If you are active and enjoy being around your pets than I am certain we would be perfect together.

Tank is available for adoption at the Humane Society of St. Lucie County’s Fort Pierce shelter.

Meet Ginger - Our Macaroni Cat of the Week

I am a gorgeous Domestic Shorthair Calico who will steal your hearts with one look into my sultry green eyes. I maybe an older cat but I still have a lot of love to give and am quite the curious girl. I thoroughly enjoy rubbing up against a leg or two and being around my human friends.

Ginger is available for adoption at the Humane Society of St. Lucie County’s Fort Pierce shelter.

The Humane Society of Saint Lucie County is an open admission, non-profit animal shelter, helping more than 8,000 unwanted pets each year, thanks to the support of donors and volunteers.

Effective 6/4/2014 - Hours of operation for both shelters are Tuesday - Friday from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM, closed Sunday and Monday. Pet adoptions stop one-half hour before closing on each day.
