PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance - Fall Clinics and Camps

The new school year is here! What do you have planned for your children after school?

If they are looking to have fun and play golf, the PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance (PGA CLP) in Port St. Lucie, Fla. is the ideal place. The 35-acre, elite training environment features 100 full-swing stations, two pitching greens, three chipping greens, bunker complex with nine types, two large putting greens and three-hole “Discover Course.”

PGA CLP offers a variety of programs for juniors (under 6 as well as ages 6-18), taught by a dedicated staff of PGA Professionals. Owned and operated by the PGA of America, the PGA CLP is ranked among the Top 50 public golf ranges by Golf Range Magazine.
 

Regardless of your child’s age or abilities, there are several clinics and programs to choose from:

• PGA Sports Academy is a unique long-term junior development program built upon years of research, combined efforts, and best practices from the World PGA Alliance and leading PGA Professionals worldwide. Our program focuses not only on golf skills, but also athletic skills which will lead to long-term player development in both competitive and social arenas. Components of the Program: Skills - Full swing and short game instruction; Fitness - coordination, stability, balance, strength and power; Sportsmanship - etiquette, rules and safety; Compete - strategy and practicing with a purpose; Have Fun - Enjoyment of the game! Thursdays 4:45 PM - 6:15 PM. Starts September 4th. PGA Sports Academy is a year round program. Cost $149 (per month). Includes Monthly Membership to Learning Center.

• St. Lucie County Schools Youth Golf Program is back again this Fall for another year of Junior Golf! The program will run six weeks from September 9th - October 15th from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Only students in grades 4th-8th grade will be eligible to participate. Acceptance is on a first come first serve basis. Program Highlights: After school instruction from PGA Professionals at the World Renowned PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance. Golf Clubs are provided during clinics for those without their own equipment. Free gift for every student. Cost is $100.00 per Junior. Includes Rewards Card, good for free junior admission to the PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance for the duration of the program.

• Born to Play Program is designed for ages 6 and under. Consists of Rules of Golf, Etiquette, Fitness, Full Swing, Pitching, Chipping, Putting, On course play, Contest’s and FUN!! This is a 6 Week program that repeats each Tuesday from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Starts September 9th. Cost: $59

• Junior Clinics are the perfect way to introduce juniors of all ages to the game of golf. Each clinic works on developing and improving basic golf skills by having a different focus each week. It is a year around program and takes place on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Cost is $10 per clinic.

• Girls Golf Club is a fun program for girls of all ages and helps them build friendships while learning the game. The program is year around on Saturdays from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM.  Cost is $10 per visit.

• The PGA Club Performance Center, which provides expert club repair and fitting from a facility ranked among “America’s 100 Best Clubfitters” by Golf Digest. The PGA CLP is open daily 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with unlimited practice starting at $23 for adults and $10 for juniors under 17. Weekly, monthly and annual membership packages are also available for juniors, singles, families and PGA Professionals.
