Find a Family Friend at the Humane Society

Meet Sadie - Our Macaroni Dog of the Week

Sadie was turned in with her little buddy Hunter after their owner got into a terrible car accident and could no longer take proper care of them. Well Hunter just recently went to his fur’ ever home and now Sadie sits here waiting for her own. She is a sweetheart of a girl who is already housebroken, walks great on a leash, and if she gets a little too excited she is very submissive and obedient when you give her a command.

Sadie is available for adoption at the Humane Society of St. Lucie County’s Port Saint Lucie shelter.

Meet Jasmine - Our Macaroni Cat of the Week

Jasmine was found by a staff member one morning locked in a crate and left overnight at our shelter’s front door. She deserves better than that and it’s time we find her the fur’ ever home she deserves. Jasmine is such a sweetheart and once you open her kennel door she immediately stretches out for some affection. This lap cat is front declawed and is the “purrfect” addition for any family needing a feline friend.

Jasmine is available for adoption at the Humane Society of St. Lucie County’s Port Saint Lucie shelter.

The Humane Society of Saint Lucie County is an open admission, non-profit animal shelter, helping more than 8,000 unwanted pets each year, thanks to the support of donors and volunteers.
