Warm up your life with pajamas and pets
Don’t fight the cold; celebrate it at the Humane Society of St. Lucie County. On Friday, Jan. 31, join us for “Pajamas and Pets”, when the adoption fee for all cats and dogs, puppies and kittens will be reduced to $50. This low-price adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations; spay or neuter; microchip, vet check and more. And feel free to visit us in your own PJs!

Not quite ready to add a feline or canine to your household? You can still warm up the lives of these precious pets by donating a new or slightly used blanket or bed of any size, items sorely needed at the HSSLC’s new shelter in Port St. Lucie.

Pajamas and Pets will be celebrated at the Humane Society of St. Lucie County’s two locations; 100 Savannah Road in Fort Pierce and 8890 NW Glades Cut-Off Road in Port St. Lucie.

Meet Bristol - Our Macaroni Dog of the Week

The number associated with my microchip was disconnected. Now I’m waiting for a new lease on life. I’m a 1-year-old Chinese Shar Pei mix of a boy, a nice guy who is shy at first but a great companion if you give me the chance to get to know you. I’d be best with kids 10 and older. A lifetime of love is waiting for both of us! Come get me at the Humane Society of St. Lucie County’s Fort Pierce shelter.

Meet Ringa - Our Macaroni Cat of the Week

I am a 2-year-old Domestic Shorthair beauty, a girl who loves to cuddle up next to you and watch TV. I am calm and quiet, and don’t mind being with another kitty in the house, as long as they are laid-back like me. I love to be petted all over, but don’t like being picked up too much. So if you don’t mind letting me come to you (and I will!), we might just have a love-connection in time for Valentine’s Day! Come meet me at the Humane Society of St. Lucie County’s Fort Pierce shelter.

The Humane Society of Saint Lucie County is an open admission, non-profit animal shelter, helping more than 8,000 unwanted pets each year, thanks to the support of donors and volunteers.
