JBF Sales Event - Call to Consignors...

Consign at the Just Between Friends of the Treasure Coast's 8th Semi-Annual All Season Sale

By Kiva Ferrerio, JBF Treasure Coast Event Coordinator September 6, 2013
Have you ever sold your children’s outgrown clothing, toys and gear through consignment or shopped one of the local children’s consignment sales events? If you answered “no,” I would reply “why the heck not?”

Unlike thrift stores, a good consignment sales event is very discriminating and only accepts items that are or look new, with a focus on name brands that are well-known and unique items that are in high-demand. As a seller, it’s an excellent way to de-clutter your home twice a year. Think kids’ closets, toy boxes, the backyard, grandma’s house, the bookcase and practically anywhere you raise your children. If they can’t wear it, fit in it or don't play with it....SELL IT!

There’s no guilt with consignment because you’re not throwing away good items, you’re recycling the items that your family once needed and making some great cash in return. Do you have clothes your kids never wore? Great, resell them and recoup a fair amount for what you have already invested in your family. Want to learn more about it and how to tag your items? The Just Between Friends of the Treasure Coast's 8th Semi-Annual All Season Sale will be held Friday, September 27th through Sunday, September 29th at the Port Saint Lucie Civic Center. We hope to see you there!
