The Treasure Coast Youth Sailing Foundation promotes the sport of sailing in an envoirment which stresses safety, good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority and the enviornment.
The T.C.Y.S.F. has been in operation since 2006 and is sponsored by the Ft. Pierce Yacht Club and the City of Ft. Pierce. The classes take place at our facility at Jaycee Park on Ft. Pierce's South Hutchinson Is. It is a great satisfaction to those of us associated with the camp, to see young people who have never sailed before to find themselves sailing alone by day 3. Our instructors are certified by the U.S. Sailing Association and have passed a background check. Students must demonstrate the ability to swim. There is a great deal of emphasis on environment responsibility and good sportsmanship, while having fun in the water and enjoying our beautiful Indian River lagoon.

Beginners Class: June 10th-14th; June 17th-21st; June 24th-28th, July 8th-12th, July 22nd-26th; July 29th-August 2nd, August 5th-9th.
Advanced Class (must have completed Beginners Class or equivalent): July 15th-19th; August 12th-16th.
Advanced Class (must have completed Beginners Class or equivalent): July 15th-19th; August 12th-16th.
Times: 08:30 AM to 04:30 PM
Cost: $210 per week
Additional Costs: $25 for lunch 5 days provided by Archie's

Additional Information: The Foundation provides financial assistance for 10% of our enrollment which means 8-9 children are given the opportunity each summer.
