Find a Family Friend at the Humane Society

Meet Pongo - Our Macaroni Dog of the Week

I’m a 1-year-old American Pit Bull boy who is as gentle and calm as can be. I’m a little timid, and would love a family who can give me some training and build the confidence I need to feel safe and secure. I’d be best with kids over 10 years old. With a beautiful face like this, I’m sure I’d be easy to love, and I know it will be easy for me to love you!

Meet Mango - Our Macaroni Cat of the Week

At just 6-months-old, I’m a guy whose face is as sweet as my disposition. Found as a stray, no one has come to claim me. Just think of all the lovin’ you’ll get from me if you take me home and make me yours….just in time for Valentine’s Day!

You can meet Pongo and Mango by stopping by the Humane Society of Saint Lucie County, 100 Savannah Road in Fort Pierce. They would really love to meet you and be your fur-ever friend!

The Humane Society of Saint Lucie County is an open admission, non-profit animal shelter, helping more than 8,000 unwanted pets each year, thanks to the support of donors and volunteers.
