The Fourth Annual Port St. Lucie Festival Italiano

January 31, 2013
Presented by Arrigo Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep-Ram of Ft. Pierce and sponsored by the San Gennaro Festival Society of Port St. Lucie, a Non-Profit organization, the 2013 Fourth Annual Port St. Lucie Festival Italiano this year will go to a two day format and will take place on Saturday and Sunday February 23 (12 to 9 PM) and 24 (12 to 8 PM), at the Port St. Lucie Civic Center Martin Health Systems "Village Square" located at US 1 and Walton Road.

This year's event promises to be bigger and better than the previous years with many popular performers. From Bari (Italy) the tenor TEO RICCIARDELLA, the soprano ANNA NICOTRA, the classical Neapolitan singer NINO CORDARO, ERMINIO SPALLA, the father & daughters trio XTREME 3, JOE & RAY, JOSEPH GIARDINA, GIANNI MONTI & ANNA FONTANA, and from NYC the return to the Treasure Coast with his Billboard # 1 hit song ANGELO VENUTO; back by popular demand the folklorist local dance company of True Crew Dance Company.

Something exceptional will make this year’s festival something to be proud of: the entire two day event will be broadcast LIVE on Radio1NewYork.com Web TV, and naturally, ANYONE from ANYWHERE in the world will be able to follow the event as it happens.

At the Festival you’ll find many arts and craft vendors, local businesses, a Kids Area with many games, Italian novelties & souvenirs, and food with a great variety of real Italian specialties. There will also be (Saturday) a Pizza Eating contest for 16 years old and over, and (Sunday) for children under 12 the breaking of the Pignata. Also a bocce court, with a tournament sponsored by Lowe’s Home Improvement of Jensen Beach.

The Port St. Lucie Festival Italiano, endorsed by the City of Port St. Lucie, has a FREE ADMISSION and plenty of free parking in the 6 story garage, located next to Village Square. Part of the proceeds will benefit a local project called Discovery Dream Center, a structure that will help the entire Treasure Coast for years to come.
