Meet Nellie- Our Macaroni Dog of the Week

I’m a sweetheart of a hound-mix, a tri-colored girl who was turned in by my last owner. I’m beautiful, good-natured, housebroken and although a bit overweight, healthy. But I’m 8-years-old, so perhaps that is why folks keep walking right on by my kennel. Won’t you give me a second chance at a happy home? I promise to love you always!

Meet Racer - Our Macaroni Cat of the Week

I was found by a kind stranger in the parking lot of a Fort Pierce pharmacy with my siblings Winkie and Boo. Winkie already found her forever home. Boo and I are holding out hope we will soon, too. I’m a 4-month-old Domestic Shorthair boy who loves to purr and snuggle. Come see me soon, and I’ll prove it to you!

You can meet Nellie and Racer by stopping by the Humane Society of Saint Lucie County, 100 Savannah Road in Fort Pierce. They would really love to meet you and be your fur-ever friend!

The Humane Society of Saint Lucie County is an open admission, non-profit animal shelter, helping more than 8,000 unwanted pets each year, thanks to the support of donors and volunteers.
