Meet Bentley- Our Macaroni Dog of the Week

I’m a 6-year-old boy found by Port St. Lucie Animal Control in pretty bad shape. I can’t wait until my new owner gives me the good (and on-going) grooming I need and deserve! My front legs are crooked, but that doesn’t seem to bother me one bit. If you’re looking for someone to cuddle up to and love forever, I’m your guy!

Meet Prissy - Our Macaroni Cat of the Week

I am a little purr-machine, a 3-year-old Domestic Longhair Calico cat found as a stray in Fort Pierce’s Lakewood Park. I have a microchip, but when the good folks at the shelter called the three phone numbers associated with it, two of them were no good and nobody called back when a message was left at the third. I am as gorgeous as my photo suggests. Please adopt me and never let me go!

You can meet Luke and Denzel by stopping by the Humane Society of Saint Lucie County, 100 Savannah Road in Fort Pierce. They would really love to meet you and be your fur-ever friend!

The Humane Society of Saint Lucie County is an open admission, non-profit animal shelter, helping more than 8,000 unwanted pets each year, thanks to the support of donors and volunteers.

If you are interested in adopting our featured dog or cat of the week, volunteering your time to help with animals or with fund-raising, or if you would like to see the other lovable animals that are available for adoption, contact the shelter at (772) 461-0687 or visit www.hsslc.org.
