Marvel at Mega Fauna Facts at the Oxbow's Nature for Families on January 12th.

Nature for Families is appropriate for ages 8 and up and is designed to involve parents and children in the discovery of nature. The cost for this program is $4 per participant. Reservations are a must.

Learn to Save A Tree, Save the Planet at the Oxbow on January 12th
. While we all want to reduce our paper consumption, it still seems like we are printing out copious amounts and recycling reams of paper.  But recycling is not the cure-all. Learn some ideas on how to go paperless with confidence as Matthew Stover continues his series on simplifying life through mastering simple technology tools on Saturday, Jan. 12 at 1:30 p.m. at the Oxbow Eco-Center.

Stover will explain that paper needs to be a certain quality to be recycled, and can’t be recycled too many times before losing its usefulness. So significantly reducing the amount of paper we use is even more responsible than recycling.

This free lecture is open to all. For more information, call the Oxbow Eco-Center at 772-785-5833 or e-mail oxbow@stlucieco.org
