Meet Caspar - Our Macaroni Dog of the Week

Animal Control picked me up while I was in the Kmart shopping plaza, trying to find my way home after picking up some Beggin Strips. I’m safe now, but as little as I am, I’m a bit scared. I’m a 6-year-old guy who now needs a different forever home; one that will take care of me for the rest of my life. I promise to love you forever in return!

Meet Joe - Our Macaroni Cat of the Week

I had what I thought was a forever home for awhile, but my owners decided they couldn’t keep me. I’d love to curl up in your lap while you read and watch TV, and just sit around looking pretty, all for your pleasure. I’m a 6-year-old male, and would love to make you happy all of my days. Won’t you come adopt me soon?

You can meet Caspar and Joe by stopping by the Humane Society of Saint Lucie County, 100 Savannah Road in Fort Pierce. They would really love to meet you and be your fur-ever friend!

The Humane Society of Saint Lucie County is an open admission, non-profit animal shelter, helping more than 8,000 unwanted pets each year, thanks to the support of donors and volunteers.

If you are interested in adopting our featured dog or cat of the week, volunteering your time to help with animals or with fund-raising, or if you would like to see the other lovable animals that are available for adoption, contact the shelter at (772) 461-0687 or visit www.hsslc.org.
